Concept
The refurbishment of 3 office buildings of 15 200 m² at Neuilly-sur-Seine is guided by three aims: the integration of the project in its context, the creation of a new and efficient working apparatus, and the design of an innovative living/working environment.
The convivial, airy feel of the entrance area sets the tone for the rest of the building, with spaces for informal conversation, attractive finishes, and abundant natural light. Leading from the foyer, the glazed internal street, the main circulation space, offers views out onto the gardens and provides a setting for informal working and meetings, and social interaction, as an alternative to the traditional office space. Adjoining this area are located a range of facilities similar to what would be expected in a hotel including the gym, a music room, an alternative restaurant in continuous service, an E-lounge, a coworking area, a fitness club, a games room (table tennis, table soccer, laser pistols etc.), a caretaker service, cafés, boutiques, planted verandas, and a business club.
The main façade is treated as a uniform plane from the second to the eighth floors in contrast to that of the building facing across Impasse Houssay with a façade set in relief with projecting balconies. All the façades are articulated with the same architectural vocabulary of glass and aluminium.
The rooftop garden terrace, which benefits from an exceptional panorama across Paris, La Défense and the Bois de Boulogne, has been conceived with almost as much attention to the variety of spaces and uses as the offices below.
Program
