Facing the Indian Ocean, edged with sandy beaches and rugged granite cliffs, and shaded by the towering trees of the tropical forest, this exceptional site in Jomchang, Phuket, was the inspiration for these 11 luxury villas.
Each one is unique, yet each evokes the character of the surrounding area, nature and the ocean. Elegance and modernity of forms and materials such as slate, teak, sandstone, ipe, granite, and enamel, have been handled in the spirit of Asian culture.
The materials used, as well as the architectural language of the villas, raised on pilotis with generous sloping roofs, make references to traditional Thai architecture. The villas are at one with the surrounding natural environment, whilst responding to the modern-day demands of a high-quality residence. This project presents a unique experience for this type of project, in terms of the level of architectural sophistication on such an exceptional site, and the quality of finishes and landscaping.
