On October 8, Arte Charpentier and the Arc en rêve architecture center invite you to a day of collective reflection on the project “Dess(e)ins d’un territoire viticole” (Designs for a wine-growing region) at arc en rêve (Bordeaux) and Château Carsin (Rions).

A three-part program:

Guided tour of the “Nouvelles Saisons” exhibition at Arc en rêve, Bordeaux

2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
A walk through the vineyards with commentary by Jean-Claude Hinnewinkel
Departure: Château Carsin, 197 Route des Côtes, 33410 Rions, France

5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Round table discussion at Château Carsin, followed by a social gathering.

A round table discussion moderated by Nathalie Leroy, landscape architect at Arte Charpentier, with the participation of:

Vincent Joineau – Mayor of Rions
– Jean-Claude Hinnewinkel – Geographer
Nea Berglund – Winemaker – Château Carsin)

A discussion between researchers, architects, winemakers, and elected officials to examine the future of an iconic landscape.
