The new PK3 market was officially inaugurated on Friday, January 23, 2026 in Cotonou, as part of the relocation of the Missèbo market. The ceremony took place in the presence of Mrs. Alimatou Shadiya Assouman, Minister of Industry and Trade, and Mrs. Eunice Loisel Kiniffo, Director General of ANaGeM.
Designed to offer modern and secure working conditions, the market has 1,885 ventilated stalls, 266 sheds, 276 shops, as well as numerous specialized spaces (tailoring, laundry facilities, restaurants, shops and sanitary infrastructures). Completely redesigned and expanded, the site is intended to accommodate mainly the players in the second-hand clothing trade in a structured and sustainable setting.
