On November 11, Arte Charpentier Architects held high-level meeting with the government of Wuchang District, including site visit of Doujiying and Tanhualin projects, and the meeting. The two sides engaged in in-depth exchanges on topics including organic urban renewal, low-carbon building technologies, and Eco-Sustainable development, aiming to deepen Sino-French cooperation and jointly sketch a new blueprint for Wuchang’s urban development.

On November 11, 2025, Arte Charpentier Architects held high-level meeting with the government of Wuchang District, Wuhan City. Following a site visit, Fan Likui, Secretary of the Wuchang District Committee of the CPC, personally attended and presided over the cooperation meeting. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on matters including the firm’s establishment in Wuchang and long-term cooperation, reaching broad consensus.

Attending this meeting were Jérôme Le Gall, Principal of Arte Charpentier; Mingding Pan, Deputy Managing Director China and Asia ;  Ke Jing, Head of Wuhan Office ; and Mr. Liu Xiao, China Business Development Director.

Site Visit: Experiencing the Pulse of Wuchang’s Urban Renewal

Accompanied by the District Commerce Bureau and the Wuchang Ancient City Culture & Tourism Group, the Arte Charpentier team conducted site vist of typical cases of Wuchang’s urban renewal – the Doujiying Historical Block and the Tanhualin Cultural Area.

These projects, which integrate traditional style with modern functions, demonstrate Wuchang’s outstanding achievements as a famous cultural city in preserving urban memory while revitalizing itself with new energy. They also provide ample inspiration and a solid foundation for the future cooperation between the two sides.
