Already present in Paris, Shanghai, and Wuhan, Arte Charpentier officially announced the creation of its subsidiary in Benin in 2025. Under the leadership of Jérôme Le Gall and Nahla Jajo-Legrand, this new office in Cotonou continues the agency’s strong commitment to the country’s urban transformation.

This move is a continuation of large-scale projects that have been successfully completed, including the modernization of 29 urban markets in 11 municipalities. This historic collaboration has also resulted in major achievements, such as the construction of the GMK commercial center and its urban park, as well as ongoing studies for other flagship projects under the PAG.

By establishing a long-term presence in Cotonou, Arte Charpentier combines its French expertise with a local approach in partnership with Beninese architects. The agency is thus supporting Benin by contributing to the development of its cities.
