Congratulations to Sophia Verguin, architect and researcher, on the brilliant defense of her thesis:
“S/Chopping Mall – The Shopping Center in the Making of the City. An Emerging Element of Centrality?”
An original and committed research project, carried out as part of a CIFRE contract between Arte Charpentier and the ESO Le Mans laboratory / Université Paris Cité, that weaves together architectural typology, film culture, and urban experimentation.
👉 Special mention to the serious game Ville·s En-Jeux, a playful and forward-looking tool to explore the reconversion of shopping centers.
