HOW TO TRANSFORM A TRANSPORT HUB INTO AN URBAN PLACE
The project seeks a harmonious transition of scale between the existing suburban fabric, to be preserved according to the PLU, and a new metropolitan dimension accompanying the arrival of the Grand Paris metro.
The requalification of public spaces combines the integration of a multimodal hub (M13, M15, bus station, cycle paths, Véligo) and the creation of a landscaped forecourt promoting daily urban life. This forecourt is based on:
- a continuous floor, from facade to facade, promoting pedestrian flows;
- a connection to the existing urban framework;
- the integration of the plant and a permeable soil;
- a framework of varied uses: terraces, market, carousel, food trucks, events.
