The Paris and Lyon agencies of Arte Charpentier have renewed their ISO-9001 certification (version 2015) for design and site administration. The certification was awarded by Certibat France, a subsidiary of Qualibat, the national organisation for the qualification and certification of the building industry.
The agency put into place, in 2006, a Démarche Qualité (a quality procedure) in accordance with international standard ISO 9001. Quality assurance certification was awarded in 2008, and, subject to an annual review, has been renewed 4 times since then.
Certification is another string in its bow for Arte Charpentier, ensuring high standards in response to the needs and constraints of clients, and the management of large and technically complex projects.
It entails the setting up of a ‘quality plan’ for each project, with the means of tracing and tracking decisions and actions. It ensures an improvement in the way projects are handled, meeting recognised standards of good practice, and conforming to the framework of current regulations. It has led to a change in the working methods of all our staff, whether it be in architecture, interior design or landscape architecture, and has changed the ways in which they interact.
It is worth noting that our quality assurance manager, Sylvie Waucquier, who has managed the process from the beginning, has also been a member of the Strategy Committee since 2014, and, before that, a member of the Certibat France Certification Committee, for project management, in 2012 and 2013.
