CAREER

Having been trained as an architect, Chi Zhang worked for many years in the
field of urban planning. This experience gives him a multidisciplinary approach
for the creation of user-friendly spaces in architecture and the city. Between
1996 and 2008, he worked at the Institute of Urbanism of Liaoning and the U.S.
Agency ADG where he participated in numerous planning projects, several of which
have received national and regional awards. Having joined Arte Charpentier in Shanghai since 2008, he took part in major projects such as the Fashion Centre in
Shanghai, the park district in Wuxi, Wanda Plaza in Langfang, the Xaijiazui district
in Wuhan and the Xinzhou Opera. His contributions often focus on the management, planning and coordination in all stages of the project.
